Latest QA report shows schools are 'very happy' with ActivKids services

All primary schools contracted to take ActivKids services have declared themselves ‘very happy’ with the level of support and quality of services they receive from the children’s activity company, according to a recent customer satisfaction survey.

ActivKids regularly undertakes random surveys of its supplied schools to ensure the quality of ActivKids classes being taught is of an appropriately high standard.

The company operates franchises in Surrey, Hampshire, South London, Buckinghamshire, Essex and Kent. It supplies children’s activity services privately and through schools.

Said ActivKids founder, James Porter: “We undertake a regular satisfaction survey with a representative sample of our schools to be sure our service is up to scratch. I’m delighted to say that we are delivering fantastic exercise and activity classes to children in all areas.

“To be told by school staff that their children love our classes, and the schools love that the administration is easy as we take care of all the paperwork, makes me proud of the contribution we are making to inspiring thousands of children to be more active.”

ActivKids has been operating since its 2002 launch in Surrey. A range of children’s activity products have been developed and launched, including ActivKids Tots, ActivKids Parties and ActivKids Camps – all designed to appeal to specific age groups, but focusing on helping children develop their fundamental movement skills (FMS).

“These fundamental movement skills can be thought of as the basic building blocks of all physical activity,” said James.

“By helping children to master these at an early age, we hope to open up a world where physical activity is fun and rewarding, whichever specific sporting or activity angle is chosen in later life,” he said.

“The longer term health benefits are massive.”

Local entrepreneurs are being offered the chance to join ActivKids via a ‘ready-made business’, says the company. Enterprising business people or commercially-minded sports coaches seeking opportunities to become self-employed are encouraged to contact ActivKids on the company’s website at  to discuss franchise opportunities in their area.
