Flies and Lizards
How can you encourage children to run shuttle runs, time and time again, without complaining? Play FLIES AND LIZARDS!!!
Children line up at one end of a room and become flies, whose job is to fly to the opposite end of the room. A hungry Lizard tries to catch flies for their lunch by throwing small soft balls at the fly’s legs. If a fly is hit by a ball, they come out of the game and become a Lizard and help catch the remaining flies!
Activ Tip: Watch where you’re running so you can jump or dodge out of the way of the balls, and avoid bumping into other flies!
