
Programmes
There are six packages currently on offer from Activkids:
(Session duration: 30-45 minutes)
Children are introduced to active games, recognised exercises and fitness drills in 6 or 12-week programmes. Each programme follows the 5 step ActivKids syllabus encouraging children to be more active and enjoy fitness and physical activity. Sessions can take place before school (WAKE UP clubs), after school or during lunch times
(Session duration: 45 minutes)
The ActivKids community programmes take the same format as the school extra curicular programmes except they are run from community venues. These can include fitness clubs, sports centres or local halls. ActivKids also work with a number of local organisations such as Primary Care Trusts (PCTs), SureStart and children's charities, on community projects. Local community groups also use ActivKids programmes for a variety of reasons such as fitness training for children's sports teams or fitness awards for guiding and scouting groups
ACTIVKIDS ALSO PROVIDE ACTIVPARTIES AND ACTIVCAMPS FOR BIRTHDAYS AND SCHOOL HOLIDAYS RESPECTIVELY!
(Session duration: 45-60 minutes)
ActivKids have 6-week lesson plans for Reception, Years 1 and 2, Years 3 and 4, and Years 5 and 6, delivering the following modules of the PE National Curriculum;

ActivTots Programme
(Session duration: 30-45 minutes)
The ActivTots programme has been specifically designed for children aged 2 to 4 years, to enjoy the benefits of ActivKids! Each session encourages children to learn new skills, enjoy new games and use basic PE and sports equipment. Adult helpers (parents, guardians, venue staff, etc.) are encouraged to be part of each session. Programmes are delivered through nurseries, creches and community venues
THIS PROGRAMME IS ONLY DELIVERED BY COACHES OR LEADERS WHO HAVE COMPLETED THE ACTIVTOTS TRAINING
ActivTeens Programme
(Session duration: 45-60 minutes)
The ActivTeens programme is a 'boot camp' style programme that introduces specific fitness drills for different fitness components (i.e. strength, stamina, speed), circuit training and the benefits of active lifestyles for wellbeing and sports performance. The programme is designed for youths aged 12 to 16 years and can be delivered through schools or community venues
THIS PROGRAMME IS ONLY DELIVERED BY COACHES OR LEADERS WHO HAVE COMPLETED THE ACTIVTEENS TRAINING
ActivFamilies Programme
(Session duration: 45-60 minutes)
Encouraging children and adults to exercise together is a key way in promoting sustainable fitness programmes. The fantastic ActivFamilies programme allows children and adults to work with, and against (!), each other. Delivered through schools and community venues, the ActivFamilies programme demonstrates how much energy children really have!

During this time fitness remains the pivotal role of the course, but also the key principles of childhood are maintained: 'Fun, Play and Learning'.
