At ActivKids, we understand the demands on leisure providers to ensure that they can offer a sustainable junior programme. There is a need to provide an exciting range of activities at an inviting cost to users, which are accessible to a variety of ages at convenient times for parents. The junior offering has to fit in with the resources available to each site whilst ensuring high standards are maintained. This can be a real challenge!
Although these challenges exist, ActivKids have developed programmes, workshops and support packages that can support providers to offer a successful junior programme. ActivKids have identified the two essential ingredients for providers to cultivate a successful programme. ActivKids can provide content for classes; deliver a range of workshops including child behaviour management, sales and marketing, and tapping the teen market; and take advantage of key areas of junior programme development, i.e. after school, birthday parties and school holidays.
ActivKids also act as a support tool for leisure providers in the public sector, which can attract full funding. Our influential package combines content, workshops and programme management over a 12-month period, taking advantage of key timings in the calendar for junior programming.
